Digital keyboard innovator Kurzweil Music Systems is partnering with San Diego-based musical instrument company Artesia Pro to launch its KaP1 digital stage piano in the North American market. Pairing visual aesthetics with jaw-dropping sound, the KaP1 offers musicians an elevated playing experience packaged in a striking mid-century modern look. It supplements a wide variety of lifestyles and interior décor with its minimalist style.
Integrating the 2GB KORE 2.0 Sound Library, the KaP1 includes samples from Kurzweil’s pro products, particularly the 9-ft. German grand piano samples found in the K2700 workstation and SP7 Grand. The piano integrates a four-speaker stereo sound system powered by dual 15W digital amplifiers. Also on board, Bluetooth and MIDI connectivity allow users to connect their smart devices to play music through the speakers.
Other features include a streamlined control panel with color-coded buttons and a LCD display provide access to all functions. Additionally, the keyboard is available in three finishes: cobalt blue, Navajo white, or ebony. For deeper details and specs, peruse the KaP1 overview.
